to begin with, violet kicks this creature around, seeing as she doesn't really have much use for it and refuses to teach it magic whatsoever, she treats this monstrosity and excuse for a helper as someone who swallows souls for her in it's translucent bloody stomach like a bag and stores it for her for violet's own convenience.
But no, most of the time she just kicks it around. because she can. because she knows it won't fight back.
